Wedding at the Vineyards...

Here's one from a wedding at the Vineyards on Friday... My assistant spotted this light post, and suggested using it (good eye Khrista). So I placed Melanie and Reggie under the light and just asked them to kiss, then had some fun with kisses... I thought this was a cool image... I showed the bride and she said, "I'm so glad I picked you guys to photograph my wedding". Weddings are so much fun, especially when the bride and groom are up for anything....

Baseball Senior...

Aaron is the twin brother of the Sarah (posted below). He's a baseball player (a rather good one), so I thought we'd make it a major part of the session. Who knows, maybe someday we'll be watching him in the Majors...

Monday's Senior...

Here's a couple from Yesterday's Senior Session... Sarah was a little shy at first, but after a few of my "corny" jokes, she relaxed and help me produce some stunning images. It's funny how some things can be seen from two different vantage points. Her hair was falling in her face. It seemed to frustrate her a little, but from my point of view, it's what makes her a pretty young lady. With a little patience, everything turned out great. I hope she likes her images...

Beautiful family session....

Here's a couple from a family session from Sunday. They live in a beautiful home right outside the city. The kids were well-behaved and they were willing to do whatever I asked them in order to get great images. The mom picked out all of the clothes which helped out tremendously. Way to go Suzanne! This was a fun session, I hope they like the images?

Downtown Wedding...

These are from a recent wedding... It took place at a downtown Historic church... Afterwards we went down to the famous Riverwalk with the wedding party. Of course all of the people there were clapping and congratulating the bride and groom. As they stood on a bridge over the water, the people on the boats were cheering. I know it made the bride and groom feel special and their day that more memorable... Everyone had a great time....

Artistic Senior Gal....

Tiffany was a blast... She warmed up pretty quick and I got some really great images... She reminded me of the actress Minnie Driver, however, Tiff is much prettier... We played with her scarf she brought... I teased her about looking like the afgan girl from National Geographic... That's so important, as Fuzzy Duenkel says, "go with your instincts". I asked her to wrap it around her head, and Ka-Chow... I like how her eyes really draw you in... The forecast was partly cloudy, but a few minutes into the session the clouds rolled in and it was another heavily overcast day...which meant it got darker faster... That's the thing about photography, you've got to work with what your given (the weather) and be proactive about it (make it work)... I hope she likes her images...

A Girl and her best friend...

Here's two from a recent senior session... She is a very talented young lady. She can play two instruments, and wants to be a doctor... The session was fun and my boys loved her dog... They talked about him for days...

Recent family sessions...

Here are two recent family sessions... The first is a mom and her two sons... They were a fun group... My mushroom joke worked for a few smiles, but they seemed to laugh more when I wasn't telling jokes... I like this high key image...

The next family... I photographed the oldest daughter's wedding over 2 years ago... They have a beautiful home on a nice plot of land. The dad built the pond (in the foreground of the image), right before his daughter's wedding. It is so cool... They were a fun group as well..
