Special Moments....

When I really think about why I love photography, moments like yesterday help remind me of the significance it holds. We had the fortune of being asked to create images of the daughter of a family we've worked with several times now. Karys is a beautiful young lady that came to us for her senior portraits a few years ago. We then photographed her wedding, and now we got the opportunity to photograph her daughter. We have come to know her family over the last few years so we wanted to create something special, a 3 generations portrait. The reason we wanted to do this is because Karys will be leaving for another state with her husband, so mom, daughter, and grand daughter will not be seeing eachother as much. I've learned over the years that we are never guaranteed anything in life, it's precious. We just had some friends lose a family member at a young age. So the portrait below will be one that will be passed down as an heirloom. People never can value a photograph until time passes and things change. As a photographer, I get the honor in creating these precious gifts. I hope people may read this and appreciate the photographs they have and the people that are closest to them. Karly is a bright-eyed, beautiful little girl. If was fun trying to capture her personality. I think mom and dad were worn out by the end of the session. We truly enjoyed the time and are honored that we get to do what we do.
