Future Builder....

Nadine is a senior at the Construction Careers Academy at Warren HS. She's in love with "building". At her school, they are actually building a home. Where's was this kind of thing when I was in school? We photographed Nadine's Quinceanera portraits, so she trusts us enough for her once-in-a-lifetime, senior portraits. Nadine is smart, funny, caring, hardworking, and very respectful. She wants to attend Texas A&M University and study Architecture and Construction. Her dream is to own her own business some day, as a project manager. I have no reservations about her achieving her goals. Her parents have been tremendous role models for her, and you can clearly see in her mannerisms, her determination and rapport with people was modeled by authentic people who have "walked the walk". The interesting story from our session was when she put on her construction attire. We were at the Pearl Brewery, where's it's being rebuilt. In the back (by the river) the building is walled-off and under construction. Many of the construction workers and project managers were walking by and looking at here like, "What are you doing standing around, taking pictures? Get to work!" She could have walked right into the restricted area and fit right in. Kind of funny. We got some great images, hope they like 'em.... More about her:

After graduation: Study Architecture and Construction at Texas A&M University
A Dinner Guest of her choice: America Ferrera (actress), I liked her movies
One Wish: To have my own company someday
One thing to do to Impact the World: I want to be an international building company that provides affordable, green, and quality structures across the globe
Favorite Song: "Kryptonite" - 3 Doors Down
Favorite Quote: "Suck It Up"

Here are some more images of her on our site, and click here to see a short video from the session. Nadine, I have no doubt that you will succeed as a Builder and own your own company someday. You will impact and influence many people in your lifetime. Never forget the respect you display toward people now and where you came from. Do this and the sky is the limit. Oh, and remember us when you need images of your projects (we do architecture and real estate photography too)....
