Noice!!!!

Bobby is a character... His favorite saying is "Noice", the Steve Irwin wanna be. You have to pretend you're from Australia when you say it. Makes 'em laugh every time. He's a football player as you can see, the center on the team. I thought I'd try some different lighting. The first one is with a smaller softbox and from more of a frontal, butterfly type of lighting pattern. The second one was one I thought was so cool. Gives you the "it's the late in the game" look. Bobby is great young man, and funny to be around. His sense of humor is one of his best qualities....

Revin Devin....

Devin is the sweetest and cutest of all my seniors this year. She is also one of my Ambassadors from JM. She's always alive, moving around, comical, and full of life. When the camera wasn't in front of my face, she'd be moving around, making faces, and just being Devin. She is so much fun to be around. She wanted the cowboy look, even though I don't think she's really a cowgirl, hehehehe.... We ended up running out of light at the end, but we still got some great images.... I think she'll like her session images...

Groovin' Greek Senior....

Brianna was so much fun to work with. Most of the poses have a semi-serious look to them, but we were laughing so much, if you'd have been to the session you wouldn't have known. She's part Greek, and she has the hair of a Greek goddess. She reminded me of an actress, but I couldn't think of it, then the more images I took it came to me: she was Kelly LeBrock's identical twin (of course what she looked like in her prime, 1980's in The Woman in Red: I don't know what she looks like now that she's much older). This is no means a plug for that movie, even though it was very funny. Brianna tends to be shy, but once you get to know her, wow.... she's goofy (in the most adorable way - ask her to spin around for you), fun, and simple. She has a way about her that makes you want to be around her. Look out guys... I hope she likes her senior pics....

JM Senior Ambassador...

Ashley is one of my JM Senior Ambassadors. After a few talks, we finally came up with an idea for her session. We decided on downtown. Early in the morning, the streets were clear of the normal crowds found later in the afternoon. The sun came out about an hour into the session, and I used it to our advantage. This was an enjoyable session, and Ashley is a beautiful young lady. When she smiles, it just turns your frown upside down. It's contagious. There were several stories from this shoot, but I'll save them for another time. Enjoy....

Stylin' Senior...

Kristina reminds me of a cross between Eva Longoria and Rachel McLish. She was happy, up for anything, and excited to be there. With those qualities, taking her images was easy. Her mom was also laughing and having a good time. Goes to show you, there's more to it than just clicking the shutter. When K came out in her last outfit, I said "Wow". She really does have a sense of style. I wish we would've have more time and daylight with her last outfit, but.... We still got great images... Hope she likes them....

Miraculous Senior....

Crystal is a walking miracle. The Good Lord has taken care of her since birth. Let's just say hospital stays, surgeries, and answered prayers all helped make her who she is today: a vibrant, fun, energetic, and beautiful young lady. She was a joy to photograph. She is the very reason I do what I do. Thanks Crystal, I hope you enjoy the images....

January Bridal...

Angela is getting married in March. We had to reschedule from last Saturday, due to the weather. It would've been rainy and in the mid 40s, but instead, one week later, it was sunny and 71. What a difference a week makes. Go figure. The funny story from this bridal is her dress. She kept trying to tell me it had lavender in it. I'm thinking burgundy. I've always associated lavender with a maroonish-red color. She said her flowers had purple in them. I'm thinking, purple won't go with lavender. Well, for sure I know what color lavender is. All due to Angela. She is now forever known as the lavender bride. We had fun, and got some great images.

Karen & Rob E-session...

Here's a few from a recent e-session. The location was absolutely gorgeous. It was a friend's home. The owner has done a tremendous job beautifying her home. There were almost to many spots to use. We all had a great time... Enjoy...

Imaging USA - OSP event

Yesterday I had the privilege of attending the Imaging USA conference and Expo here in San Antonio. Met alot of people. Got a chance to meet some of the top photographers in the business. I have many funny stories, but I'll just share some pics. I met Liana Lehman, she's really cool (thanks again Liana for getting me in, I'm glad I could help). I got to be Jessica Claire for a day. Used her conference pass to attend. Got called Jess all day long... hehehehe. I met and talked with David Jay. By the way, he's so down-to-earth and easy to talk to. And at the end of the day, we had an OSP get together at RIO RIO restaurant. Thanks again everyone for making it a day to remember.

The day started at the Church, then on to the reception at her parent's home, then downtown to the riverwalk, then to a hotel, lastly on to the restaurant for dinner... Matt and Andrea, I hope you marriage will be as special as your wedding day was memorable... Congratulations....

Right Lane, Left Lane, Fashion Layne...

Layne was a blast, she wanted more of a fashion type of session. It was extremely windy and overcast. Didn't think we were going to get it in a couple of days ago, but the weather held out and we got some fantastic images... Here's a few...

Fun E-Session....

Andrea and Matt were a blast... They are fun, energetic, and good sports.... I'll be shooting their wedding in a week and a half... Found a new spot out at the studio... Thought the cactus would be cool, and the golden grass seemed to match her sweater...

The jump image was Andrea's idea, then I fine tuned it...

This was a fun session...

Wedding at the Vineyards...

Here's one from a wedding at the Vineyards on Friday... My assistant spotted this light post, and suggested using it (good eye Khrista). So I placed Melanie and Reggie under the light and just asked them to kiss, then had some fun with kisses... I thought this was a cool image... I showed the bride and she said, "I'm so glad I picked you guys to photograph my wedding". Weddings are so much fun, especially when the bride and groom are up for anything....

Baseball Senior...

Aaron is the twin brother of the Sarah (posted below). He's a baseball player (a rather good one), so I thought we'd make it a major part of the session. Who knows, maybe someday we'll be watching him in the Majors...

Monday's Senior...

Here's a couple from Yesterday's Senior Session... Sarah was a little shy at first, but after a few of my "corny" jokes, she relaxed and help me produce some stunning images. It's funny how some things can be seen from two different vantage points. Her hair was falling in her face. It seemed to frustrate her a little, but from my point of view, it's what makes her a pretty young lady. With a little patience, everything turned out great. I hope she likes her images...

Beautiful family session....

Here's a couple from a family session from Sunday. They live in a beautiful home right outside the city. The kids were well-behaved and they were willing to do whatever I asked them in order to get great images. The mom picked out all of the clothes which helped out tremendously. Way to go Suzanne! This was a fun session, I hope they like the images?
